Domestic Revolutions and Feminist Cities

ABA Partner Emily Abruzzo will be participating in the upcoming symposium, “Domestic Revolutions and Feminist Cities,” hosted by the Yale School of Architecture on April 9–10, 2026.

Organized by Charles Gwathmey Professor in Practice Tatiana Bilbao and Senior Critic Annie Barrett, and dedicated to Professor Emerita Dolores Hayden, the event convenes an international group of innovators to explore more equitable models of urbanism, infrastructure, and architecture.

Emily will moderate the panel “Building Fair-Shared Cities: Vienna and Barcelona” on Friday, April 10, featuring Elke Krasny, Zaida Muxí, Anna Puigjaner, and Maria Vassilakou. The discussion will examine how cities like Vienna and Barcelona are leading global efforts in gender-equity planning through housing complexes, collective kitchens, and new urban districts.

The symposium is free and open to the public, with both in-person and livestream attendance options available.

April 9–10, 2026, Yale School of Architecture, 180 York Street, New Haven, CT 06511
