ABA Featured in PIN–UP Magazine’s NYC Architects Portrait

Emily and Gerald are included in the NYC Architects group portrait in PIN–UP Magazine‘s 40th issue, alongside nearly every architect the magazine has featured across its two decades of publishing.

For those unfamiliar, PIN–UP has always had a particular sensibility: it gravitates toward architects who treat practice as a form of cultural and intellectual inquiry, as much as a building discipline. The roster it has assembled over the years, and brought together for this portrait, reflects that cross-section of New York City and New York-based architectural practice.

The shoot, organized in collaboration with The World Around, took place at the Abrons Arts Center on the Lower East Side, photographed by Lucas Creighton.
